O GP de Singapura de 2024 terá quatro zonas de ativação da Asa Móvel (DRS). A ativação do sistema que dá aos carros mais velocidade de retas será feita entre as curvas 14 e 16, uma área do circuito que foi mudada em 2023 para criar uma nova reta e permitir mais ultrapassagens.
A mudança havia sido solicitada pelos pilotos para a edição do ano passado da corrida, mas a Federação Internacional de Automobilismo (FIA), afirmou que, na época, não havia um consenso dos times a respeito da implementação de uma quarta zona de DRS.
Agora, conforme dá para ver no mapa abaixo, serão duas zonas de ativação seguidas, separadas apenas pela curva 14. A detecção de ambas as zonas será feita no mesmo ponto.
Essa não é a primeira corrida com quatro zonas de DRS. O GP da Austrália de 2023, que tambpém sofreu uma alteração no traçado, foi a primeira prova a contar com a zona extra de ativação da Asa Móvel. Veja abaixo a programação do GP de Singapura de F1:
