Tradicional equipe do futebol baiano, o Colo-Colo volta a buscar uma vaga na elite estadual, da qual está afastado a quatro anos. O Tigre Ilheense começa as atividades de campo na próxima segunda-feira (21), porém, de acordo com o vice-presidente de futebol José Carlos Oliveira, mais conhecido como Zé Cacá (foto), o trabalho já vem a acontecendo a quase seis meses.
De acordo com o dirigente, as tratativas para o Colo-Colo estar em campo foram iniciadas a um bom tempo com empresários e a classe politica de Ilhéus. “Não foi fácil ‘costurar’ essas situações, mas todos entenderam que neste momento se deve pensar no Colo-Colo, na tradição que ele tem e a região que ele representa. Nós buscamos ao longo do tempo as garantias necessárias para se disputar a competição com condições de brigar pelo título, logicamente respeitando aos demais clubes”, afirmou o dirigente.
No momento, o time conta com o aporte financeiro da Prefeitura de Ilhéus, além de uma importante parceria firmada com o Doce Mel, clube de Ipiaú que subiu para a 1ª divisão no ano passado. “São apoios importantíssimos porque o Colo-Colo mexe com a nossa sociedade e nenhuma representação poderia ficar alheia. Além disso temos o apoio do Doce Mel que está nos cedendo nove atletas, além do ônibus para que possamos fazer nossos deslocamentos em jogos fora de Ilhéus sem maiores problemas”, informa Zé Cacá.
A diretoria do Colo-Colo acertou a contratação do técnico Índio Ferreira, que também dirigiu o Doce Mel no Campeonato Baiano. Porém, Zé Cacá garantiu que a chegada do treinador não tem a ver com a parceria. “Independentemente da parceria com o Doce Mel, a gente já tinha contatado Índio. Coincidentemente vai facilitar o trabalho, porque ele concluiu a Série A com o Doce Mel. As quatro partidas dele nos chamou atenção e ele entrou na nossa lista de treinadores”, disse.
Os trabalhos começam na próxima segunda-feira (21), mas já na sexta-feira, os atletas devem começar a chegar em Ilhéus. “Temos uma pousada já fechada para receber e alojar os jogadores, além disso estamos cuidando de todos os detalhes referente aos treinamentos. Os atletas começam a chegar na sexta-feira e a nossa expectativa é que na segunda-feira o grupo esteja completo e o trabalho comece”, afirmou o dirigente.
Quanto à competição em si, Zé Cacá acredita que a disputa será acirrada. “As dificuldades são grandes para todos por conta da pandemia, mas ainda sim os times estão se movimentando, montando estruturas fortes, times qualificados, de forma que teremos uma competição equilibrada. O Colo-Colo sabe das dificuldades, mas estamos unindo forças para que este ano possamos dar alegria a nossa torcida que anseia pela volta da equipe á 1ª divisão”, observou Zé Cacá.
