Paulo Ricardo Magro, presidente da Chapecoense, faleceu nesta quarta-feira (30), vítima da Covid-19. Ele estava internado desde o dia 18, na UTI, do hospital Unimed, em Chapecó, e não conseguiu resistir as complicações.
Paulo Magro, vinha respondendo bem ao tratamento, apresentava sinais de uma pronta recuperação. Contudo, na noite da terça-feira teve uma piora repentina por conta de uma infecção que compremeteu os rins. Desse modo, o presidente precisou ser submetido a uma hemodiálise que foi bem sucedida, porém, na segunda vez, ele não resistiu.
A prefeitura de Chapecó secreto luto de um dia por conta do falecimento. Simultaneamente, a diretoria anúnciou que as atividades estarão suspensas nesta quarta (31). Além disso, a entidade divulgou uma nota.
“Paulo foi um dos grandes responsáveis pela retomada da Chapecoense, dentro e fora de campo. Com a sua coragem, idoneidade e sabedoria, ele permitiu que o time alviverde voltasse a trilhar um caminho vitorioso, pavimentado pela dignidade e pelo trabalho – valores tantas vezes pregados pelo nosso querido presidente”.
“Diante da perda irreparável, o sentimento é de tristeza, mas, acima de tudo, de gratidão ao homem que entrou para a nossa história e nela se eternizou ao, novamente, reconstrui-la”.
