Pelo fato do Marcelo não ter uma estatura maior (1,84 metros), a gente pode decidir se continua ou não, mas as vezes quando você não tem uma estatura tão grande, você compensa no trabalho de impulsão, de força e velocidade, e é o que ele tem”, justificou.
Pilão ainda fez uma comparação com profissionais que atuam na elite do futebol brasileiro e que dão conta do recado.
“Todo mundo fala na altura dos goleiros, mas nós temos o Wilson do Coritiba que tem 1 metro e 85, assim como o goleiro Tadeu do Goiás, e eu não vejo a altura deles comprometerem em nada”, explicou.
O preparador de goleiros, Pilão já definiu e disse que quer contar com todos os goleiros, mas vai se reunir com o técnico e diretoria para definir quem permanece. No próximo sábado (06), às 15h, o Fluminense de Feira fará um jogo treino com o Jacuipense, no estádio metropolitano de Pituaçu.
