Cresce número de corredores durante pandemia no Brasil

Para a surpresa de muitos, uma recente pesquisa mostrou que o número dos corredores de rua aumentou durante a pandemia do Coronavírus. A agência Edelman Intelligence fez uma pesquisa com 14 mil corredores de 12 países, incluindo o Brasil que apontou que mais de um terço das pessoas entrevistadas (36%) estão mais ativos agora do que antes do início da pandemia, mesmo com as medidas adotadas pelo mundo para a contenção da doença.

E para aqueles que fazem parte da pesquisa e começaram a incluir a corrida no dia-a-dia seja profissionalmente ou só nos fins de semana não basta sair correndo por aí e batendo seus próprios recordes. É preciso estar preparado para este impacto que a corrida gera nos membros inferiores e em toda a musculatura corporal. “Um movimento errado, uma compensação que o corpo faz em determinado momento e até mesmo a maneira de movimentar pernas e braços interferem diretamente não só no resultado, mas também na saúde do corredor”, pontua o fisioterapeuta Bernardo Sampaio.


Para isso, os exercícios de fortalecimento e flexibilidade, são de extrema importância. E para não se lesionar é importante conquistar o alinhamento biomecânico destes membros, de modo que eles trabalhem em harmonia, sem nenhuma sobrecarga ou atrito errôneo. E como fazer isso? Segundo Bernardo é preciso que cada corredor conheça o seu corpo e a maneira como corre, estando consciente da maneira como distribui o peso do corpo e movimenta o tronco. “O ideal é fazer uma avaliação minuciosa através de tecnologia avançada que permite ao profissional analisar como os ossos e os músculos estão organizados na reação à gravidade e às forças atuantes no corpo humano buscando as melhores formas de correção biomecânica e facilitando os ajustes”.


 Além disso, a má postura costuma ser a inimiga número um do corredor. Bernardo Sampaio explica ainda que os exercícios devem começar em terreno plano para que o corpo se adapte com mais facilidade e aos poucos ir aumentando a carga e o ritmo dos treinos de maneira gradativa. Vale lembrar que ter o apoio de um treinador virtualmente com uma tabela especifica de treinos é fundamental para avaliar avanços, adequação e ajustes de treinos.
