O interior do Amapá viveu um episódio incomum no último fim de semana. Dois vereadores — Jairison Ataíde Vales (MDB), o Conjaki, de Porto Grande, e Samuel Santos Paiva (PSDB), o Dentinho, de Ferreira Gomes — subiram ao octógono para se enfrentar no GFC Fight Night, realizado no sábado (20), em Porto Grande, a 115 km de Macapá.
No combate, Conjaki, de 38 anos, dominou os três rounds e venceu Dentinho, de 35, que desistiu após ser encurralado e receber golpes na cabeça.
A luta ocorreu apesar de uma recomendação do Ministério Público do Amapá (MP-AP), emitida na véspera, pedindo que os parlamentares não participassem. O órgão considerou a iniciativa “incompatível com a dignidade da função pública e o decoro parlamentar”, além de entender que o embate poderia representar “banalização da violência como método de expressão política”. O descumprimento deve levar à abertura de procedimento preparatório para inquérito civil.
A organização do evento negou qualquer ligação com recursos públicos e disse ter recebido a recomendação do MP com surpresa. “Os dois são atletas, treinaram e lutaram como os demais”, afirmou a direção.
Após a polêmica, os próprios vereadores tentaram reforçar o caráter esportivo da luta. Conjaki alegou que sua participação foi motivada pelo incentivo ao esporte e negou ter recebido remuneração. “O meu objetivo foi única e exclusivamente apoiar o esporte e incentivar os jovens tanto de Porto Grande quanto de Ferreira Gomes”, disse em nota.
