Uma manhã para celebrar água, vida e esporte. Com 700 atletas inscritos, a 2ª edição da Corrida da Água de Feira de Santana, promovida pela Embasa, aconteceu neste domingo (30), na Avenida Nóide Cerqueira, encerrando as atividades da Semana da Água 2025.
Primeiro colocado na classificação de 5km masculino, o corredor João Victor Pereira treina há três anos e elogiou o evento. “A corrida foi incrível, muito boa. É a segunda edição e com certeza veio para ficar”, disse. A primeira colocada na categoria feminina de 5km como colaboradora da Embasa, Naylde Santos, também avaliou positivamente a corrida. “É muito importante praticar atividade física e a corrida de rua é excelente, uma atividade gratuita que ajuda na qualidade de vida. E hoje corremos pela vida e pela água, foi excelente”, comentou.
O gerente regional da Embasa, Raimundo Neto, celebrou o sucesso. “Chegamos à segunda edição da Corrida da Água e o evento já está consolidado no calendário esportivo de Feira de Santana. Uma atividade que celebra a água, a vida e a saúde. Agradecemos a toda a nossa equipe de trabalho, parceiros e o imenso interesse do público feirense. Esperamos todos no próximo ano”, comemorou.
Ao final, os atletas e participantes também puderam visitar o stand da Embasa com jogos interativos para testar os conhecimentos sobre água e meio ambiente, que davam direito a brinde. Também houve distribuição de mudas de plantas nativas cultivadas no Viveiro Educador da empresa e a animação final ficou por conta da banda Sound Maré.
