A CBF (Confederação Brasileira de Futebol) divulgou os grupos da Série D de 2025. A competição vai reunir diversos times tradicionais, como Santa Cruz-PE, Sampaio Corrêa-MA, Portuguesa-SP, Joinville-SC e Brasil-RS, entre outros . 8 grupos foram divididos por proximidade regional. E o regulamento será o mesmo dos últimos anos: as equipes de cada grupo vão duelar em dois turnos, e 4 se classificarão para o mata-mata. Depois disso, com jogos de ida e volta, serão definidos os 4 times que subirão para a Série C.
Todos os três times da Bahia estão no Grupo A4: A Juazeirense e os estreantes Barcelona de Ilhéus e Jequié. A Série D tem começo previsto para 13 de abril. As datas-base da final são 21 e 28 de setembro.
