A Seleção Brasileira Feminina confirmou presença nas quartas de final dos Jogos Olímpicos Tóquio 2020. Em jogo duro na manhã desta terça-feira (27), no Estádio Saitama, o Brasil balançou as redes com Andressa Alves e superou a Zâmbia por 1 a 0, no último duelo da primeira fase do torneio.
Invicta até aqui, a Seleção fechou a fase inicial em segundo lugar do Grupo F, com duas vitórias e um empate. Foram seis gols marcados e três sofridos.
A partida começou agitada em Saitama. Partindo pra cima desde o primeiro lance, o Brasil quase abriu o placar aos três minutos, com Rafaelle, de letra. Na sequência, aos quatro, a Zâmbia respondeu e obrigou Bárbara a praticar duas lindas defesas.
Até que, na marca dos 12 minutos, Ludmila invadia a área quando foi parada por Mweemba com falta. A zagueira zambiana levou o cartão vermelho e foi expulsa. Na cobrança, Andressa Alves bateu com categoria no canto esquerdo de Musole e abriu o placar para a Canarinho. Golaço!
Com uma jogadora a mais, a Seleção passou a ter mais espaço em campo, tendo a chance de ampliar ainda na etapa inicial. Aos 57, Andressa Alves pegou sobra da defesa e acertou o travessão da Zâmbia.
Na volta do intervalo, a Zâmbia passou a praticar um jogo muito duro, com muitos lances ríspidos, dificultando bastante a criação brasileira. Mesmo buscando o segundo gol até os minutos finais da partida, a defesa zambiana conseguiu segurar o poderoso ataque brasileiro. Só que, no fim, quem ficou com a vaga nas quartas foi o time verde e amarelo.
