A Fórmula 1 realizou neste domingo (23) o GP da Hungria, 11ª etapa da temporada 2023. E em uma prova marcada pelo forte calor e a grande degradação de pneus, Max Verstappen garantiu mais uma vitória no ano, dando o bote em cima de Lewis Hamilton ainda na primeira curva para vencer sem problemas. Com isso, a Red Bull chega à 12ª vitória consecutiva na F1, batendo o recorde histórico da McLaren de Ayrton Senna e Alain Prost com uma sequência iniciada no GP de Abu Dhabi do ano passado.
Hamilton, na verdade, não durou nem até a primeira curva de na liderança. Na largada, o inglês tentou fechar a porta, deixando Max sem espaço, mas o holandês foi inteligente para manter-se no traçado, uma vez que já estava na linha ideal. Na disputa da freada, prevaleceu também o esperto Oscar Piastri, que assumiu a segunda posição, com Lando Norris indo para terceiro. A partir daí, foi o já costumeiro passeio da Red Bull, com Verstappen dominando com pneus médios e duros, apenas administrando a distância para a McLaren de Norris — que àquela altura, já havia superado o companheiro de equipe após a primeira troca de pneus.
Sergio Pérez apostou nos pneus duros no início e fez uma boa corrida de recuperação, terminando em terceiro. Hamilton cruzou a linha de chegada em quarto, com Piastri em quinto e George Russell (que havia largado em 18º) em sexto. Charles Leclerc, punido em 5s por exceder o limite de velocidade no pit-lane, Carlos Sainz, Fernando Alonso e Lance Stroll fecharam o top-10.
