Oito partidas marcaram a abertura da Copa Águia Dourada no último final de semana em Feira de Santana. A competição em 2020 chega a sua sexta edição sendo disputada nas categorias , sub-10 sub-12 e sub-14 reunindo várias escolinhas de futebol de Feira e cidades da região. A copinha está sendo disputada no campo da praça esportiva Raimundo Almeida, no bairro Campo Limpo.
Ronaldo Cerqueira, coordenador da competição acredita que a 6ª edição será bem motivada principalmente por conta das novidades implantadas este ano. “A primeira é que a grande final será no campo do Sesi, no Alto do Cruzeiro e outra novidade é que a equipe campeã terá uma vaga na Copa Sesinho, que vai acontecer no decorrer do ano, sendo este mais um bom motivo para que as equipes participem e independente dos resultados mostrem o trabalho que fazem na busca de captar e revelar talentos para o esporte”, disse “É uma competição interessante porque revela novos talentos como Anderson Talisca, que hoje está no futebol chinês e participou da disputa antes de ganhar projeção”, afirmou Ronaldo Cerqueira.
