Censo será ponto de partida para Plano Estadual de Esportes na Bahia

Gestores de 98 municípios baianos desde ontem (21) estão participando de uma capacitação para posterior realização de um censo esportivo no Estado. Este será ponto de partida para a criação do Plano Estadual de Esportes para uma implementação uniforme de politicas públicas voltadas para o Esporte em geral, atendendo às necessidades e demandas de todas as regiões da Bahia.

Estas 98 cidades são pertencentes a sete Territórios de Identidade do Estado e os seus representantes participaram de um ciclo de Seminários de Mobilização do Novo Censo Esportivo da Bahia, cuja primeira etapa se encerrou na última sexta-feira (18). Desde ontem, estes gestores participam de uma capacitação especifica para o preenchimento do formulário do censo, constituído por mais 100 questões relativas à realidade do esporte no município e hospedado em plataforma digital específica.“O balanço feito da adesão deste momento inicial  é extremamente positivo. Revela o quanto os gestores municipais estão sensíveis à necessidade de termos um diagnóstico detalhado sobre o esporte em nosso estado, com vistas à construção de políticas públicas para o esporte, sejam municipais, seja estadual,  cada vez melhores e com resultados práticos mais positivos”, observa o secretário do Trabalho, Emprego, Renda e Esporte da Bahia, Davidson Magalhães, que tem participado dos seminários virtuais.

COOPERAÇÃO
A realização do Censo Esportivo baiano acontece por meio de cooperação técnica firmada pela Superintendência dos Desportos do Estado da Bahia (Sudesb), autarquia da Secretária do Trabalho, Emprego, Renda e Esporte (Setre), e a Universidade Federal do Paraná/Instituto de Pesquisa Inteligência Esportiva (Ipie).
O diretor geral da Sudesb, Vicente Neto, também destaca a excelente receptividade como a ação tem sido recebida pelos municípios. “Com o desmonte do sistema nacional de esporte, quando sequer temos um ministério voltado para essa área, os Estados e Municípios se ressentem da ausência de uma coordenação nacional da política esportiva e da falta de recursos”, destaca o gestor da Sudesb.


Ainda de acordo com Vicente, “a realização deste censo esportivo cresce em importância, considerando que ao final teremos um produto fidedigno à realidade dos 417 municípios baianos. Será a partir deste levantamento que será criado o Plano Estadual de Esporte da Bahia”, informou o gestor, destacando que conhecer os dados também será importante instrumento para que os municípios planejem também suas próprias políticas.
No início de julho, os seminários de mobilização, todos virtuais, serão retomados, atendendo os municípios dos demais 20 territórios que formam o estado baiano. O primeiro grupo mobilizado e que será capacitado já na próxima semana tem como participantes os municípios dos Territórios de Identidade: Metropolitano de Salvador, Baixo Sul, Sudoeste Baiano, Sertão do São Francisco, Piemonte Norte do Itapicuru, Recôncavo e Piemonte da Diamantina.
