O cabo do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar da Bahia, Magno Caldas, foi bi-campeão do Campeonato Baiano Máster de Verão, conquistando a prova dos 50m nado livre na categoria 40 a 44 anos, disputada no último final de semana, na capital baiana. O evento é organizado pela Federação Bahiana de Desportos Aquático (FBDA) e é a única competição máster da categoria realizada esse.
Outro destaque da competição foi Emanuelle Pereira, que garantiu a marca nos 50m livre da Arena Aquática. Atleras como Osvaldo Dalben, do Cepe, quebrou recorde nos 50m costas, além de Rodrigo Chaves, da Fluir, nos 200 m livre. O Campeonato Baiano Master de Verão contou com a participação de 200 atletas e não teve presença de público.
