A ginasta Flávia Saraiva assumiu a liderança da classificatória do Mundial de ginástica artística de Jacarta, nesta terça-feira (21), após ter cravado a série de trave. Depois de ter somado 13,833 pontos, a medalhista olímpica foi superada por Zhang Qingying (14,366), da China, mas conquistou a vaga na final da prova.
“Foi uma trave boa. Não foi a série mais forte que eu posso fazer, mas fiquei muito feliz. Tô voltando a um ciclo olímpico, então o mais importante era estar aqui no Mundial. Dá para trabalhar em detalhes ainda. Foi uma série muito limpa. Espero fazer igual (na final), mas aumentar a nota de partida. Final é final. Vou buscar meu espaço”, completou a brasileira.
Além de Flavinha, Júlia Soares, Júlia Coutinho e Sophia Weisberg também competiram pelo Brasil, mas não conseguiram avançar para as disputas por medalhas.
