Associação Desportiva Jequié (ADJ) elegeu e empossou na noite desta quinta-feira, 09 de outubro, a nova diretoria para o quadriênio 2026-2029. A chapa única, liderada pelo presidente Eduardo Alves Pereira, vice-presidente Jacó de Almeida Santos e Antônio Francisco dos Santos Junior como presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, foi eleita sem oposição.
O novo presidente da ADJ anunciou que divulgará os demais integrantes da diretoria na próxima semana. Em sua primeira declaração, Eduardo Alves Pereira destacou a importância da união e do profissionalismo para a gestão do clube, enfatizando a necessidade de contar com o apoio dos torcedores.
“É um começo de trabalho, mas é uma continuidade do trabalho desenvolvido por Leur Lomanto e Camilo Barbosa, que continuarão conosco no projeto. Precisamos de união para uma gestão voltada com o máximo de profissionalismo e um time forte”, afirmou o presidente.
O primeiro desafio da nova gestão será a disputa do Campeonato Baiano da Série A em janeiro de 2026. A diretoria planeja estabelecer uma parceria com o Fluminense de Feira de Santana para a formação do elenco para as séries A e B.
Além disso, o Jequié utilizará o centro de treinamento do Touro do Sertão para sua preparação. A nova diretoria assume com o objetivo de reconquistar a torcida e fazer um trabalho de excelência no futebol.
