A Conmebol divulgou seu ranking atualizado para a divisão dos potes do sorteio dos grupos da Libertadores 2024. Por ela, cinco brasileiros devem ser cabeças de chave: Fluminense, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Grêmio e São Paulo. O Atlético-MG deve entrar no pote 2.
Botafogo e Bragantino, caso avancem à fase de grupos, estarão no pote 4, como classificados da fase prévia. Ambos podem ser sorteados em chave de clubes brasileiros. Vale ressaltar que o ranking não é o que define as vagas no Mundial de Clubes 2025, que é feito pela Fifa. Para fazer sua lista, a Conmebol utiliza o desempenho dos últimos 10 anos na Libertadores, Sul-Americana e também conta títulos nacionais.

Nesta terça-feira (19) a Conmebol vai sortear os confrontos da fase prévia, que conta com três fases. Botafogo e Bragantino entram na disputa na segunda fase. Ao todo, 19 clubes vão disputar quatro vagas na fase de grupos.

POTE 2- Aucas, Puerto Cabello e Aurora;
FASE 2:

O sorteio da fase de grupos será em março, em data ainda a ser definida pela Conmebol. Times do mesmo país não podem cair na mesma chave, com exceção dos classificados da fase prévia. A fase de grupos da Libertadores começa no dia 3 de abril e termina em 29 de maio.
