A Fifa divulgou nesta sexta um documento para a regulação do futebol durante a pandemia da Covid-19. Nele, a entidade propôs uma série de medidas que envolvem os clubes e os jogadores.
As principais delas envolvem o fim da obrigatoriedade dos atletas de servirem as seleções nas datas Fifa, a regulamentação da janela de transferências e de contratos de atletas: muitos deles terminam no dia 30 de junho, quando a temporada europeia terminaria a princípio – atualmente, é difícil acreditar que não haja uma extensão.
Cumprimento de contratos
Para os contratos terminando em 30 de junho, a Fifa propõe que o vínculo deve ser estendido até a nova data de término da temporada. A mesma medida vale para os acordos com início previsto em 1º de julho. Nesse caso, o vínculo só se iniciaria na nova data escolhida para o começo da próxima temporada.
Em relação ao pagamento de técnicos e jogadores por parte dos clubes, a Fifa quer que os times e atletas entrem em um acordo, para que, ao mesmo tempo, os empregos estejam protegidos e as equipes fiquem saudáveis financeiramente. Nesse caso, qualquer decisão unilateral deve estar baseada em leis nacionais.
Adiamento da janela
A escolha do período em que os clubes podem fazer transferências é das associações nacionais: a CBF escolhe as datas para clubes brasileiros, a FA, para os britânicos e as outras para as equipes correspondentes.
Com o fim da temporada previsto para 30 de junho, a janela de transferências de vários países na Europa estava programada para começar no dia 1 de julho.
No entanto, a Fifa anunciou que vai aceitar todos os pedidos de extensão – desde que não passem do limite máximo de 16 semanas – e adiamentos das janelas de transferências devido à situação excepcional do coronavírus. A entidade também comunicou que aceitará todos as demandas de extensão da temporada atual.
Jogadores que tiveram os vínculos terminados durante a pandemia ou tiveram os contratos rescindidos devido à crise, poderão assinar um novo vínculo a qualquer momento, sem ter que esperar a próxima janela de transferências.
As datas Fifa
Outro ponto importante é que o documento estabelece a não-obrigatoriedade dos jogadores convocados servirem as seleções nacionais durante as chamadas datas Fifa – períodos reservados pela entidade para jogos de seleções.
Essa decisão vale para o futebol masculino, feminino e para o futsal, nas datas Fifa de março e abril. No entanto, a entidade sinaliza que provavelmente a medida será extendida para os meses de junho e julho também.
Com isso, tanto clubes quanto atletas poderão declinar convocações e não vão estar sujeitos a sanções.
