A CBF realizou nesta terça-feira (8) o sorteio da terceira fase da Copa do Brasil Feminina que envolveu 32 clubes. Eles foram divididos em 16 grupos. Os duelos, cuja data-base é dia 6 de agosto, vão ser em jogos únicos. Um dos confrontos reunirá Cruzeiro e Corinthians, em Minas Gerais, respectivamente o líder e o vice-líder da primeira fase do Brasileirão da Série A1.
O evento ocorreu na Granja Comary, em Teresópolis, região serrana do Rio, onde a Seleção Brasileira Feminina se prepara para a disputa da Copa América no Equador. Antes do início do sorteio, o técnico Arthur Elias falou sobre a expectativa da competição que será realizada de 11 de julho a 2 de agosto.
A coordenadora das Seleções Femininas, Cris Gambaré, e a atacante Jhonson também fizeram usos da palavra para dizer o que esperam da participação do Brasil na Copa América.
O sorteio agrupou os 32 clubes – 16 que venceram os jogos da segunda fase e outros 16 egressos do Brasileirão da Série A1 – em um mesmo pote.
Os primeiros 16 clubes sorteados ganharam o direito de ser os mandantes. Em caso de empate, a classificação para a quarta fase vai ser definida nos pênaltis.
