O técnico Arthur Elias anunciou na manhã desta segunda-feira (10) as 23 jogadoras convocadas para defender a Seleção Brasileira na Copa América Feminina 2024. A competição será disputada entre os dias 12 de julho e 2 de agosto, em Quito, no Equador, reunindo 12 seleções sul-americanas em busca do título continental.
Entre os destaques da lista estão a presença da veterana Marta, e da jovem promessa Jhonson, considerada uma das grandes apostas da nova geração. A convocação foi divulgada na sede da CBF, localizada na Barra da Tijuca, no Rio de Janeiro.
Antes da estreia no torneio, o Brasil realiza um amistoso preparatório contra a França, marcado para o dia 27 de junho, em Grenoble. Será o reencontro das seleções após as quartas de final dos Jogos Olímpicos de Paris, quando a equipe brasileira venceu as francesas por 1 a 0.
