A causa é a pandemia do novo coronavírus.
Um pouco mais tranquilo depois de superar o Red Bull Bragantino, o Esquadrão de Aço tenta melhorar alguns quesitos. Depois de ser questionado pela bola aérea, agora é a vez da saída de bola ser o ponto das críticas. O lateral-esquerdo Juninho Capixaba reconheceu que é preciso melhorar.
“Acho que falta um pouco mais a gente treinar essa saída de bola. A gente trabalha bem essa saída de bola, trabalhou muito nesse tempo que ficou parado. No período qeu voltamos aos treinos. O Roger trabalhou muito isso cmo a gente. O Bahia tem uma arma a seu favor: Élber, que tem um histórico positivo contra o São Paulo. Foi dele o gol do triunfo no primeiro jogo das oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil em 2019 no próprio Morumbi. Ele quer repetir a façanha.
“Acho que é uma equipe qualificada. O nome São Paulo fala por si só, um dos maiores do Brasil. Vai ser um jogo difícil, eles estão num momento complicado, mas só está no começo do campeonato. Vai ser um jogo difícil. Temos que colocar a bola no chão, explorar os defeitos deles e fazer um grande jogo. Espero repetir o gol e o triunfo para seguir tendo ótimo desempenho no campeonato”, indicou.
Para o jogo, o técnico Roger Machado deve contar com os retornos do meia Daniel e do centroavante Fernandão, que foram vetados pelo departamento médico na última partida. O volante Flávio, de malas prontas para a Turquia, está fora do jogo.
