Índio Ferreira vai permanecer no Doce Mel para 2021

Depois de ter conquistado o vice-campeonato baiano da 2ª divisão, o treinador Índio Ferreira já tem destino certo para 2021: retorna ao Doce Mel, onde chegou na reta final do Campeonato Baiano deste ano e logrou êxito ao manter a equipe de Ipiaú na elite estadual para a próxima temporada. Inclusive amanhã, ele já terá um encontro com os dirigentes para discutir o planejamento da equipe para o ano que vem.

Sobre a perda do título da 2ª divisão, Índio reconheceu a competência da Unirb que ficou com o título. “Jogamos bem, mas a decisão foi para os pênaltis e quando chega nesse estágio, aí prevalece a competência. Eles foram melhores e por isso ficaram com o título. Agora é focar nos projetos futuros”, declarou.

Quanto a sequência do trabalho no Doce Mel, Índio considera de fundamental importância. “O futebol é um planejamento: você traça os objetivos, estabelece metas fora de campo e dentro você executa. Por isso é que esse planejamento é importante para que o Doce Mel seja mais competitivo do que foi esse ano e os grandes resultados possam então acontecer”, observou Índio.

Oito atletas do Doce Mel que estiveram emprestados ao Colo-Colo retornam a equipe para a disputa do Baiano. “Além deles estamos fazendo um trabalho forte observação de jogadores e hoje posso assegurar já temos 80% de atletas contratados, outros estão apalavrados e estamos trabalhando para que ao começar a pré-temporada o grupo já esteja fechado. Esse é o nosso objetivo”, afirmou.

A comissão técnica de Índio está praticamente definida, exceto o preparador de goleiros. Ele conta com os auxiliares Diego Ferreira e Alan Bahia, além do preparador-físico Matheus Costa. “Agora é focar no planejamento, definir detalhes como a apresentação e o começo de trabalhos e trabalhar muito para que façamos uma boa competição “, observou Índio Ferreira.
