A partida foi marcada pelo equilíbrio, com as duas equipes tiveram oportunidades de abrir o marcador, mas não se concretizaram. Para o técnico da Unirb, Laelson Lopes, mesmo com o placar em branco, o empate de certa forma favoreceu a sua equipe. “Nos favorece porque levamos a decisão para o nosso mando de campo, onde poderemos nos impor. Existe a possibilidade de disputa por pênaltis, que não descartamos, porém a ideia é trabalhar forte para que a gente decida nos 90 minutos e levante este título”, comentou Laelson Lopes.
