A diretoria interina do Fluminense de Feira convocou novas eleições presidenciais no clube para preencher os cargos de presidente e vice-presidentes, que ficaram vagos pela segunda vez em menos de dois anos depois das renúncias de Deraldo Conceição e Zaqueu Tanan Santiago. Até o encerramento das inscrições somente uma chapa, encabeçada pelo advogado Ícaro Ivinn confirmou inscrição. O mandato do novo presidente vai até dezembro, quando acontecerão novas eleições para Conselho Deliberativo e direção executiva do Touro do Sertão.
A eleição convocada de forma extraordinário é para eleger novos dirigentes que completem o ciclo de dois anos de uma gestão, iniciada pelo ex-deputado Everton Carneiro, o Pastor Tom que ficou pouco mais de um ano no cargo e no final do ano passado renunciou, depois de perder seu mandato de parlamentar. O então presidente do Conselho Deliberativo, Antônio Deraldo da Conceição, o Deraldão, renunciou o cargo para disputar a eleição presidencial formando a chapa tendo como vice-presidente Zaqueu Tanan Santigo. Antônio Raimundo Gomes dos Santos, que ocupava a vice-presidência do Conselho, então assumiu a titularidade do setor deliberativo do clube.
A diretoria ficou à frente do clube por menos de 90 dias: inicialmente alguns dirigentes deixaram seus cargos e posteriormente Zaqueu Tana Santiago – alegando divergências administrativas – deixou a vice-presidência. Pouco tempo depois, foi Deraldão quem renunciou à presidência e desde então o tricolor feirense voltou a ser presidido de forma interina por Antônio Raimundo Gomes dos Santos, enquanto Rodrigo Bastos Leal assumiu de forma interina a presidência do Conselho Deliberativo e convocou as eleições para o próximo dia 20 de abril.
As inscrições foram encerradas na manhã de hoje e somente uma chapa foi inscrita: “Para o Touro voltar a sonhar”, encabeçada pelo advogado Ícaro Ivinn e Emanoel Carvalho como vice-presidente. Na próxima segunda-feira (19) acontecerá o julgamento da documentação e posteriormente acontecerá a homologação da chapa. O processo acontecerá na terça-feira (20) com a primeira convocação e às 17 horas em segunda convocação às 18 horas, em ambiente virtual, em função do Decreto Municipal nº 12.081, de 04 de abril de 2021, que proíbe a realização de eventos e atividades com a presença de público, através de plataforma a ser definida pela Comissão Eleitoral formada para este fim, e participar da eleição para a composição dos cargos da Diretoria Executiva para conclusão do mandato 2019/2021, nos termos do Art. 30º e seus parágrafos, com apuração e proclamação do resultado após o encerramento da votação.
