Num evento inédito, o Esporte Clube Bahia Associação reuniu mais de 400 pessoas no Lounge Premium da Arena Fonte Nova durante a última quinta-feira (19). O Fórum Estadual de Formação Esportiva, promovido pelo Comitê Brasileiro de Clubes (CBC) e do qual o Tricolor foi anfitrião pela primeira vez, proporcionou gratuitamente um dia inteiro de conhecimento e networking a representantes de federações, clubes e ligas esportivas, profissionais e esportistas de diferentes municípios do estado.
Com o tema O CBC e a universalização do Programa de Formação de Atletas Olímpicos, a edição ofereceu orientações e esclarecimentos sobre o Programa de Formação de Atletas, por meio do qual são financiadas compras de passagens aéreas e de equipamento esportivo e remunerações de profissionais.
O fórum teve as presenças dos medalhistas olímpicos e campeões mundiais Lars Grael (vela), Emanuel Rego (vôlei de praia) e André Heller (vôlei), Embaixadores do CBC. Para o Presidente Emerson Ferretti, o objetivo do Clube — compartilhar conhecimento — foi atingido. “O CBC é a entidade que fomenta o esporte olímpico brasileiro, por meio do repasse de recursos aos clubes, para que estes desenvolvam os atletas, e ter recepcionado tanta gente de vários lugares da Bahia, pra nós, foi um prazer gigantesco”, afirmou. “Dessa forma, o Bahia exerce seu papel social, que é pensar no esporte como um todo, e ainda se aproxima não só do CBC mas também de outros clubes do cenário olímpico local, que almejamos desenvolver.”
O fórum, que teve sua primeira edição em setembro do ano passado, percorreu, nos últimos meses, os estados do Paraná, Pernambuco, Pará, Mato Grosso do Sul, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio Grande do Norte, Minas Gerais e Ceará, tendo alcançado, ao todo, quase 6 mil pessoas. Na Bahia, além do Esquadrão de Aço, contribuíram conjuntamente para a organização do evento as Secretarias do Trabalho, Emprego, Renda e Esporte (Setre) e de Turismo do Estado (Setur-BA) e o Sindiclube-BA.
