Virna Jandiroba busca nocaute contra Kanako Murata

O plano A de Virna Jandiroba é sempre o mesmo: colocar a adversária no chão e finalizar, usando seu jiu-jítsu, arte marcial na qual já derrotou nomes como Amanda Nunes e Cláudia Gadelha.

Contra a japonesa Kanako Murata, todavia, a lutadora baiana está sentindo que pode surpreender as pessoas com sua trocação.

– Eu espero que termine com uma finalização, mas hoje reconheço muito mais o meu poder de nocaute. Me sinto poderosa para poder nocautear. Pode sair um nocaute também, mas seria ótimo sair uma finalização, é um caminho que eu gosto muito – disse Jandiroba.

Não costuma trocar muito, talvez ela venha diferente nesta luta, mas ela não se arrisca muito em pé. Então acho que é um lugar que tenho vantagem, em cima e no jogo de chão. Mas treinei para uma atleta dura e para fazer uma luta dura”, analisou.

Seja em pé ou no chão, Virna está focada em encerrar a luta e ter uma atuação convincente. A baiana ficou com a derrota para Mackenzie Dern em dezembro passado, na decisão dos juízes, engasgada.

“O que acredito é que tenho que ser mais incisiva. Eu sei que eu posso mais, sei que podia mais na luta conta a Mackenzie, e nunca posso deixar nos detalhes. Eu que tenho que decidir, não há ninguém que possa decidir a luta por mim. Estou muito nesse processo de auto responsabilidade. Você vai lá e você vai fazer”, finalizou.
