Nesta terça-feira, a diretoria do Corinthians demitiu três funcionários das categorias de base do clube. Os desligamentos teriam sido motivados por redução de custos.
Dentre os desligados, está Claudinei Muza. O profissional foi contratado ainda na gestão Augusto Melo, quando o departamento de base era chefiado por Claudinei Alves. Ele exercia o cargo de gerente administrativo.
Além de Claudinei, também foram demitidos do Corinthians Renato Barros, que atuava como treinador de goleiros do sub-20, e Thiago Polletti, supervisor da categoria.
Redução de custos
Em contato com a reportagem da Gazeta Esportiva, o diretor estatutário das categorias de base, Carlos Roberto Auricchio, conhecido como Nenê do Posto, alegou que os cortes foram por questões financeiras. A ordem teria vindo da diretoria do clube, presidido por Osmar Stabile.

Desde o início da gestão Stabile, o Corinthians tem feito uma reformulação ns categorias de base. O clube dispensou uma série de atletas contratados durante o mandato de Augusto Melo e promoveu diversas mudanças entre as lideranças do departamento.
