O presidente Paulo Carneiro pediu na manhã de sábado, 15, afastamento temporário como diretor-presidente da empresa Vitória S/A. após o conselho deliberativo do clube instituir uma comissão para investigar a gestão dele. A decisão foi tomada por unanimidade em reunião extraordinária virtual. Carneiro ficará afastado até a conclusão da investigação.
Mesmo se afastando do Vitória S/A, o dirigente segue presidindo o conselho diretor da associação civil Esporte Clube Vitória, que tem o comando de toda a parte esportiva e administrativa do rubro-negro.
A decisão do mandatário rubro-negro foi tomada após pressão de conselheiros, que apontaram a existência de processos judiciais envolvendo a sociedade anônima e o dirigente, gerando conflito de interesses. Os conselheiros desejam realizar um “pente fino” na administração do clube.
Segundo o presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do Vitória, Fábio Mota, a comissão será montada no início da semana e que será investigado todo o período de gestão do atual Conselho Diretor.
“A comissão foi criada para investigar a gestão da posse até os dias atuais. Vai fazer uma avaliação de tudo e apresentar relatório”, afirmou Mota, em entre ao site Globo Esporte. De acordo com ele, os conselheiros pretendem fazer uma investigação abrangente da gestão.
Entre as questões que os conselheiros querem investigar estão às ações judiciais entre Paulo Carneiro, Vitória S/A e Esporte Clube Vitória, sejam como autores ou réus. Dentre elas, a principal foi uma em que há processo da empresa Carneiro Assessoria Financeira Ltda. cobrando uma quantia ao Vitória S/A de um contrato entre 2004 e 2005, quando atual presidente do clube era sócio da empresa.
O Vitória S/A também pede explicações de Paulo Carneiro sobre três cheques sacados em dinheiro, no valor histórico total de R$ 1.796.850,00 entre os anos de 1998 e 2005, além de três confissões de dívida sem documentos comprobatórios de prestação de serviço no valor de R$ 445.310,04 e um pagamento de bônus a ele mesmo, como dirigente, de R$ 3.730.920,39, sem aprovação dos acionistas.
