Mudança no comando! O Bahia de Feira já tem um novo técnico para a temporada 2024. Trata-se do cearense Oliveira Canindé, experiente treinador que chega para sua segunda passagem pelo clube feirense. A informação foi divulgada nesta segunda (25) por Miro Nascimento no programa Conexão Esportiva, da Rádio Sociedade News FM, e confirmada pelo dirigente do clube, Tiago Souza.
Oliveira dos Santos Lopes tem 57 anos e é natural da cidade de Canindé, no Ceará. Começou a sua carreira como técnico em 2003, no Boa Viagem, do Ceará, e tem passagens por clubes como River (PI), Icasa (CE), Campinense (PB), CSA (AL), América (RN), Santa Cruz (PE), Sampaio Corrêa (MA), dentre outros times.
Canindé comandou o Tremendão em 2021 no vice-campeonato do Baianão e na Série D nacional, quando saiu na fase de grupos. No total, somou 5 triunfos, 8 empates e 6 derrotas, deixando o clube para assumir o Manauara (AM), e depois Pacajus (CE). Seu último clube foi o alagoano CSE, quando foi demitido em fevereiro deste ano.
Até o momento, o Bahia de Feira tem somente o Campeonato Baiano a ser disputado no ano que vem, já que a equipe não se classificou para Série D do Brasileiro e Copa do Brasil, por ter terminado a última edição do estadual na 5ª posição.
