O projeto “SOS Manaus – Parceiros Brilhantes” (foto), por exemplo, já recebeu R$ 60 mil de repasses do tribunal. Com esse dinheiro, pôde dar sequência a distribuição de cestas básicas a famílias da capital amazonense e, sobretudo, ajudar com tanques de oxigênio e suprimentos para hospitais da região durante a pandemia. “Essa doação, por mais que tenha sido de penalidades, ela conseguiu direcionar algo muito lindo, que é ajudar o próximo, fazer o bem. Achei inusitado tudo isso, foi inesperado quando entraram em contato com a gente”, admite Mayara Brilhante, diretora da entidade. “Mas eu acho que também serve como lição. Todo castigo de uma certa forma, toda indisciplina serve como uma lição para você. Então ver que isso ajudou pessoas talvez seja a melhor forma de você pagar por um ato de indisciplina”, completa ela.
Doações também foram entregues ao projeto “Corrente pelo Bem”, no bairro de Jardim Gramacho, em Duque de Caxias. A instituição de caridade, que já recebeu R$ 37 mil em valores oriundos das multas pagas pelos clubes, leva água para moradores carentes da região, como Dona Maria das Dores Silva: “Toda vez que cai uma água aí nessa caixa, dá um alívio”.
