Conmebol sorteia hoje os grupos da Libertadores e da Copa Sul-Americana de 2021

A Conmebol realiza nesta sexta-feira, às 13h (de Brasília), o sorteio dos grupos da Libertadores e da Copa Sul-Americana de 2021. O evento será em Luque, no Paraguai, onde fica a sede da entidade. Por conta da pandemia de Covid-19, os representantes das equipes participantes dos dois torneios vão acompanhar remotamente, e não presencialmente, como em anos anteriores.

A final da Libertadores está marcada para 20 de novembro, e decisão da Sul-Americana prevista para 6 de novembro. Os locais dos jogos ainda não foram definidos.

O Palmeiras, atual campeão (foto(, é o único time que já tem “spoiler” do sorteio: será cabeça de chave no Grupo A. Os outros cabeças de chave serão sorteados nos demais sete grupos, de B a H.  Veja abaixo a divisão dos quatro potes:

Pelo regulamento, clubes do mesmo país não podem cair na mesma chave, exceto os que disputam o mata-mata preliminar. Ou seja, apenas Grêmio e Santos, ainda na terceira fase, podem entrar no grupo de outro brasileiro.

O time gaúcho vai enfrentar a partir desta sexta-feira, às 19h15, o Independiente Del Valle, do Equador, em jogo que será realizado em Assunção, no Paraguai, por conta da pandemia. A partida de volta está marcada para o dia 14, também às 19h15, em Porto Alegre.

Já o Santos recebe o argentino San Lorenzo a princípio na terça-feira, em Brasília, depois de vencer a primeira partida, fora de casa, por 3 a 1. O Tribunal Regional Federal da 1ª Região (TRF-1), porém, derrubou a liminar que suspendia o lockdown no Distrito Federal. O confronto, portanto, está sob risco.

Regulamento da Libertadores

Depois da definição dos oito grupos de quatro times cada, as equipes se enfrentam em jogos de ida e volta dentro da chave. Os dois melhores avançam às oitavas de final. Nessa fase, os duelos serão definidos em sorteio, com vantagem de decidir em casa para o time de melhor campanha.

Premiação da Libertadores

Fase 1: US$ 350 mil por jogo como mandante (já disputada).

Fase 2: US$ 500 mil por jogo como mandante (já disputada).

Fase 3: US$ 550 mil por jogo como mandante (em disputa).

Fase de grupos: US$ 1 milhão por jogo como mandante.

Oitavas de final: US$ 1,05 milhão

Quartas de final: US$ 1,5 milhões

Semifinais: US$ 2 milhões

Vice-Campeão: US$ 6 milhões

Campeão: US$ 15 milhões

Valor total que um campeão pode receber (desde a fase de grupos): US$ 22,55 milhões (R$ 125 milhões na cotação atual)
