Feira de Santana agora é sede de um dos maiores eventos esportivos e culturais do Instituto Federal da Bahia (IFBA): os Jogos Integradores do IFBA (JIFBA) e a Mostra Intercultural de Jogos Indígenas e Africanos (Joindaf). Desde esta quinta-feira (30) e até a próxima terça (4), estudantes de várias partes da Bahia participam dos eventos.
A solenidade de Abertura foi realizada nesta quinta (3, no Ginásio Oyama Pinto.
Nesta edição, 24 delegações do IFBA participarão das competições, representando um contingente de aproximadamente 1.500 participantes. Ao todo, os estudantes disputarão 11 modalidades esportivas, além de protagonizarem apresentações artísticas e culturais que expressam a riqueza das tradições indígenas, africanas e afro-brasileiras.
A Joindaf, em sua VII edição, tem como objetivo valorizar as heranças culturais africanas e indígenas, reforçando o compromisso do IFBA com uma educação antirracista, inclusiva e transformadora. O evento propõe um espaço de diálogo e celebração das identidades, contribuindo para a formação cidadã e o fortalecimento da consciência histórica e social dos estudantes.
O JIFBA e a Joindaf contam com o apoio do Ministério da Igualdade Racial, Prefeitura Municipal de Feira de Santana e do Instituto Pensar Feira, reforçando o compromisso conjunto com a promoção do esporte estudantil, da cultura e da integração comunitária.
