Inter demite técnico Odair Hellmann

Odair Hellmann não é mais o técnico do Internacional. Após quase dois anos no comando do Colorado, o treinador não suportou a pressão depois de perder a final da Copa do Brasil e acumular resultados ruins no Campeonato Brasileiro, e foi demitido nesta quinta-feira, após revés contra o CSA, em Alagoas.

Membros da diretoria do clube gaúcho se reuniram durante a tarde para planejar o prosseguimento da temporada. O presidente Marcelo Medeiros, os vice-presidentes do Conselho de Gestão e o vice-presidente de futebol Roberto Melo decidiram pela saída do treinador. Alvo de protestos da torcida ao lado de Hellmann, Melo segue no cargo.

Desde novembro de 2017 no Colorado, Odair comandou o Inter 116 vezes, com 61 vitórias, 27 empates, 28 derrotas para 60,3% de aproveitamento, marcando 151 gols e sofrendo 89.

Sob o comando do técnico, o clube gaúcho terminou o Brasileiro de 2018 na 3ª colocação após o acesso da Série B. Nesta temporada, foi vice-campeão do Campeonato Gaúcho, para o Grêmio, e da Copa do Brasil, para o Athletico-PR, além da eliminação nas quartas de final da Libertadores para o Flamengo. Odair deixa o Colorado na 6ª colocação do Brasileiro com 38 pontos somados.
