Depois uma verdadeira “via-crúcis”, que foi a viagem de ida e volta a Palmas/TO para encarar o Palmas pela 4ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro da Série D, os atletas do Bahia de Feira retomaram as atividades na manhã de hoje na Arena Cajueiro, já pensando no jogo contra o Atlético em Alagoinhas no próximo sábado (10), às 20h30min. O objetivo agora é minimizar os efeitos da maratona para que o time não sinta os efeitos do desgaste no próximo jogo.
A maratona do Tremendão, de acordo com o preparador-físico da equipe Geraldo Lantyer, começou logo após a partida contra o Brasiliense na quinta-feira (1). “Na sexta-feira fizemos um trabalho de recuperação com os jogadores e em seguida já viajamos. Inicialmente fomos para São Paulo e de lá para Brasília, onde dormimos. No sábado, viajamos para Palmas onde chegamos a tarde e só deu para fazer uma rápida movimentação no hotel mesmo para desintoxicar”, contou.
O jogo aconteceu no domingo sob um calor de mais de 40ºC. “Além dos cuidados normalmente adotados quando se joga numa temperatura tão elevada como essa, tivemos o cuidado de olhar o emocional do grupo. Sentimos os efeitos da viagem, da temperatura, mas vencemos e o melhor é que não nos foi relatado nenhum problema clínico”, relatou Lantyer.
A viagem de volta foi outra maratona: na segunda-feira, somente no começo da noite a delegação deixou Palmas com destino à Brasília, onde pernoitou e ontem veio com destino à Salvador. O grupo chegou em Feira de Santana no começo da tarde, quando foi liberado e voltou as atividades hoje. “Tudo isso que passamos foi complicado e a nossa programação de atividades tem que ser feita com todo o cuidado para que não se tenha prejuízos. O nosso objetivo é minimizar os efeitos da maratona para que o grupo chegue bem contra o Atlético, outro adversário difícil, e os nossos jogadores precisam estar bem para encarar mais este desafio pela Série D”, afirmou Geraldo Lantyer.
