O Jacobina aguarda desdobramentos de uma ação que ingressou no Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva da Bahia buscando anular o rebaixamento que sofrera no Campeonato Baiano 2020. A ação tramita desde o último mês de agosto e a expectativa é de que o clube obtenha a mesma prerrogativa que aconteceu em alguns Estados quando o rebaixamento de algumas competições foi anulado.
O vice-presidente do Jegue da Chapada, Rafael Damasceno (foto) alega que desde o primeiro instante, o Jacobina se mostrou contrário ao retorno do Campeonato Baiano, alegando questões como a impossibilidade de disputar jogos no Estádio José Rocha em Jacobina, vetado pela prefeitura municipal por conta da pandemia. Outra questão alegada foi a inviabilidade de se colocar o time em campo, pois praticamente todos os atletas haviam sido liberados. “Tudo isso nós colocamos e nos foi alegada a necessidade de encerramento da competição para que fossem cumpridos os trâmites junto a CBF e homologadas as posições finais. Infelizmente não nos foi dada a opção, por exemplo, de escolher o mando de campo diante do Doce Mel que foi beneficiado, enquanto nós prejudicados totalmente, não nos deixando outra alternativa a não ser busca a esfera judicial porque toda a competição foi resolvida extracampo e então será desta forma que lutaremos pelo nosso direito até o fim”, declarou.
O Jacobina ingressou com uma ação no Tribunal de Justiça Desportiva da Bahia (TJD-BA) pedindo a anulação do rebaixamento da equipe. “Isso aconteceu no último mês de agosto baseado em precedentes de que em outros Estados, a questão do rebaixamento foi anulada, sem maiores prejuízos para as agremiações. Por que isso não se aplicar na Bahia? Nós apelamos para o bom senso naquele momento, alertamos o perigo por conta da pandemia e olha o que está acontecendo? O Estado vive uma nova onda de Covid-19. Foram decisões abruptas, precipitadas e o Jacobina está pagando por isso de forma injusta”, destacou Rafael Damasceno

Rafael Damasceno não quis entrar em detalhes, mas revelou que poderá acionar judicialmente o Fluminense de Feira, alegando irregularidade no atual mandato do presidente Everton Carneiro, o Pastor Tom. “Nos chegou à informação de que durante seis meses o clube teve dois presidentes: o atual que foi eleito, porém só deveria ser empossado seis meses depois, salvo renúncia do antigo. É uma questão na qual o nosso (Departamento) Jurídico está analisando e poderá ter algum desdobramento nos próximos dias”, afirmou.
