Primeiro tempo
A princípio, o jogo começou bastante truncado. Os times não conseguiram desenvolver um bom futebol. Entretanto, o Vitória se sobressaiu e conseguir criar jogadas de perigo. Logo, Samuel abriu o placar para o Leão, e ainda teve chance de ampliar. Por outro lado, o arqueiro Rubro-Negro não trabalhou.
Segundo tempo
Na volta do intervalo, o jogo pegou fogo. Logo no início David ampliou para os Rubro-Negros. Porém, após abrir dois a zero, o time do Vitória pareceu ter sentido a carga. O Unirb aproveitou, foi pra cima e conseguiu o empate, com gols de Dedé e Leocovick, contra. Mas Ruan Nascimento em um belo gol, colocou novamente os visitantes na vantagem, em lance que gerou muita discussão. Já nos minutos finais, em bela arrancada de Du Paraíba, o atacante bateu no canto, empatando a partida.
