Londrina garante acesso à Série B com gol nos minutos finais

Um dos rebaixados na Série B 2019, o Londrina garantiu seu retorno para a segunda divisão neste sábado (16) ao vencer o Remo em Belém-PA por 1 a 0. O tubarão paranaense, como é conhecido o Londrina, consegue o acesso ao terminar em 2º lugar no seu grupo da segunda fase da Série C, mas não disputará o título.

Para conseguir o acesso, o Londrina precisava vencer o líder Remo fora de casa e torcer para o Paysandu perder para o Ypiranga-RS em Erechim. O Londrina era o 3º colocado com 6 pontos, o Paysandu ocupava a 2ª posição com 7. Ambas as partidas aconteciam simultaneamente às 17:00.

O primeiro tempo acabou com as duas partidas empatadas em 0 a 0, placares que davam o acesso ao Paysandu. Mas logo aos 3 minutos do segundo tempo o Ypiranga abriu o 1 a 0, tirando as chances do Paysandu. Este placar daria o acesso inédito à equipe gaúcha, mas aos 42 minutos do segundo tempo o Londrina conseguiu o gol heróico que levou o clube de volta à Série B.

Portanto o grupo 2 do quadrangular final da Série C termina assim:
1º Remo – 10 pontos (finalista)
2º Londrina – 9 pontos
3º Ypiranga/RS – 7 pontos
4º Paysandu – 7 pontos

Neste domingo (17) o grupo 1 será definido. O Santa Cruz enfrenta o Brusque (que já garantiu o acesso) em Recife, e o Ituano recebe o vice-líder Vila Nova-GO que precisa apenas empatar e torcer para o Santa Cruz perder.
